West Hills Garage Addition

Architect: THESIS
Garage & Family Room Addition

Build in 1968 next to a post and beam house, this carport wasn't aging well. Home to squirrels, it was dilapidated and even dangerous. This was a perfect opportunity to create a custom garage, with a nod to Ferris Bueller, along with a new family room that reflected the family's love for this home and surrounding forest. The design and implementation required vision and a willingness to think outside the box. It wasn't just about the house, it was about a holistic, client-centered collaboration and the connection to family and memories.
