Complete Kitchen Renovation

Transforming this classic Portland craftsman kitchen was a rewarding journey with close collaboration with the family. Our focus was on honoring the original style and millwork while ensuring a seamless blend with modern functionality.

We gutted the entire kitchen to create a fresh start, incorporating thoughtful features like a recessed spice rack and a cozy seating banquette. The result is a beautifully revitalized kitchen that harmonizes tradition with practicality.

On the left is a stainless steel oven, white countertop, rectangular sink basin built into the dark wood cabinets, drawers and dark metal hardware and fixtures.

Shiny and richly saturated yellow tile backsplash with stainless oven and black convection stovetop, blue butter dish, and recessed spice rack in the rich yellow-tiled wall.

Shiny, richly saturated yellow tiles form an oven backsplash and line the corner of this white countertop, bordered with a white wall on the left at the end of the countertop.

This informal seating area is a remodeled mud room and has a fixed, rich wood tabletop surrounded with build in benches on 2 sides with white vertical surfaces surrounding the rich wood seats.

Opposite the sink is a shorter counter, with white tops, rich yellow rectangular tile back ball with 2 white outlets, white cabinets with gold toned hardware above with cabinet doors and shelf with microwave.

These custom cabinets were made to match the 1915 millwork with built-ins.
