A ground-up pool house/ADU build, clad in a continuous cedar plank rainscreen, contains a kitchenette, bedroom, office, and outdoor covered lounge area.

The building clocks in at 641 square feet (50 feet wide) and does double duty as the homeowner’s office and an income generating short term rental. The interior material palette is a complement to the recently renovated main house. Oversized windows throughout the structure frame views of the surrounding pool and landscaping.

The clean exterior form of the building features the same cedar rainscreen at the walls and over the roof. Hidden behind removable slats are custom-built fiberglass integrated gutters, expertly executing the architect’s vision for the build.
