Old houses often offer a bit of underutilized space that can be carved out and transformed. This house featured a huge, attic, untouched in almost 100 years, and an awkward stairwell room that was begging to become something useful. The attic was converted to a primary bedroom suite with attached bath, and we transformed the stairwell room into a cozy, corner table dining nook.

This renovated attic bedroom has a skylight, a seating area, built-in shelving, and plenty of room for large plants.
