The masonry outbuilding in the backyard wasn't living up to its full potential, and our clients really needed more space. We designed and renovated it into a bright new studio, maximizing the scant 230 square feet we had to work with. We framed the walls, and added beams and a half bath. The homeowners use it as their quiet garden office daily. In the future it can also be used for guest quarters.
