The Opportunity:
We’re looking for a Construction Estimator with experience in residential remodels to join our collaborative team. The estimator plays a critical role in budget development, bid coordination, and supporting the transition from design to build. You’ll work closely, often in person and at job sites, with both the design and production teams to ensure each project is accurately and thoroughly scoped.
Your day-to-day work experience will include:

Develop accurate estimates for residential and small commercial remodels and ADU

Evaluate construction documents and scopes of work in collaboration with design team

Solicit and review bids from subcontractors and vendors

Track and analyze historical project cost data

Update and maintain internal pricing tools

Assist with client meetings and communications related to scope and cost

Support permitting and pre-construction documentation as needed

Involvement in constructing client proposals, presentations, and drawings
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Needed to Perform this Role:

Proven experience estimating residential remodeling projects

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Adobe tools (Acrobat, InDesign or similar)

Familiarity with Portland construction market and permitting processes

Self-directed, highly organized, detail-oriented, able to produce complete, accurate bids

Team oriented, have foresight to know when to ask for help

Strong interpersonal skills, able to clearly convey information in writing and verbally
